The Project Management Administrator supports the Electronic Health Records (EHR) program and associated management activities within the NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). This role involves planning and coordinating project logistics developing and documenting specifications and tracking project activities across state-operated healthcare programs. It also supports the onboarding and offboarding of employee and contractor staff in collaboration with internal HR and vendor teams.
This position contributes directly to the success of the EHR implementation and subsequent operations as well as to other Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities (DSOHF) and Division of Mental Health (DMH) initiatives. The role enhances coordination communications and data tracking across complex IT and program functions during both project and operations phases.
Key Duties Include:
Coordinate EHR-related project activities with program leadership including publishing reports and scheduling meetings.
Support the posting onboarding and offboarding processes for FTE and contract staff in collaboration with ITD HR and vendor partners.
Facilitate onboarding logistics including systems access and certification validation.
Assist with the standardization of program processes and documentation.
Manage communications and maintain documentation such as meeting minutes and project updates.
Maintain staffing plans and organizational charts for the program.
Support non-EHR related DSOHF and DMH projects and operational tasks.
Collaborate across IT and program teams to gather and report relevant data.
Ensure alignment with onboarding and offboarding policies for all team members.
