Job Description
The primary school counselor plays a critical role in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for young students. Help children in grades Kindergarten and first grade develop social emotional academic and behavioral skills to achieve their full potential. The counselor collaborates with teachers parents and administrators to create and implement strategies that promote students success and well-being.
Current AR Guidance & Counseling Certification required. An out-of-state licence must have reciprocity. Knowledge of Conscious Discipline is preferred but not required.
This position is a 210-day contract. Salary based on current pay scale from $58750 to $82648. The official teacher salary schedule can be found on the school website.
