Job Description

Overview

Work Arrangement:

***After the initial training period this is a hybrid role working onsite in our Sioux Falls SD office.***

Performs regulatory and operational testing to ensure products and processes for applicable clients are following applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  1. Completes regulatory testing in accordance with the Banks approved compliance management system (CMS).
  2. Performs periodic reviews in accordance with the prescribed schedule assigned by management.
  3. Reports testing results; tracks logs and maintains records of testing outcomes management responses and Monitoring and Oversight responses as applicable. Conducts validation of root cause analysis of identified incidents collaborates with Compliance and the line of business to determine appropriate corrective actions to mitigate risk and performs validation to confirm the effectiveness of client remedial efforts.
  4. Prepares detailed summaries of identified findings for the Remediation Project Team and actively participates in client meetings to review and discuss testing outcomes root cause analysis and corrective actions including validation of remediation effectiveness.
  5. Produces final reports on testing results which are distributed to FTS Division Leadership and Regulatory Agencies upon request.
  6. Develops close working relationships with internal and external business partners by promptly responding to questions concerns and remedial items.
  7. Plans organizes and prioritizes assigned reviews to ensure deliverables meet departmental standards.
  8. Keeps abreast of regulatory changes supervisory and industry trends. Determines impact if any on company operations processes and procedures and recommend changes to management.
  9. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of bank regulatory compliance or audit experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of operational processes consumer banking and credit regulations including UDAAP principles BSA/AML requirements for onboarding new customers and related compliance testing processes.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Operational knowledge of regulatory citations within assigned reviews.
  • No Travel Required.
