You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe role of Executive Housekeeper at Sheraton Augusta Hotel is a vital position that ensures the maintenance of brand standards within our establishment. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in the Marriott system to effectively lead our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and a strong commitment to delivering impeccable room and public area standards.
Leadership & Training: The Executive Housekeeper will play a key role in recruiting on-boardingtraining mentoring and motivating a dedicated team of room attendants laundry attendants and public-area attendants. They will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Standards & Quality Control: Upholding the Sheraton and Marriott brand standards is crucial. The Executive Housekeeper will conduct regular inspections of guestrooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness organization and adherence to high-quality standards.
Scheduling & Budget Management: This role involves developing and managing efficient staffing schedules monitoring departmental budgets controlling labor costs and minimizing supply expenses to ensure efficient operations.
Guest Service & Recovery: The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for promptly responding to guest requests and service recovery situations. They will work closely with the Front Office and Engineering departments to address and resolve guest concerns effectively.
Inventory & Procurement: Managing inventory levels for housekeeping supplies linens and uniforms is essential. The Executive Housekeeper will also be responsible for processing purchase orders in collaboration with Purchasing and Accounting departments to maintain a well-stocked and organized inventory.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations local health guidelines and brand safety protocols is a top priority. The Executive Housekeeper will coordinate ongoing training in chemical handling back-safety and emergency procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Reporting: Regular reporting on productivity labor and expenses is required. The Executive Housekeeper will prepare daily weekly and monthly reports and present findings and improvement plans to the General Manager.
Marriott Experience STRONGLY PREFERRED: Candidates with previous experience in the Marriott system will be given preference.
Proven ability to lead and develop large teams (20 associates) is essential for this role.
Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations inventory control and budgeting is required.
Exceptional organizational communication and guest-service skills are key attributes for the ideal candidate.
Working proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems is necessary for effective performance in this role.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays is a requirement.
