Price Industries on the search for a Service Desk Technicianfor our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Casa Grande AZ. In thishands-on position youll interact with our user communities regularly. Youll support a variety of technologies and respond to a wide range of support issues. The job can be stressful at times but you know how to manage users expectations.
You are someone who gets IT. Youre frequently called on by friends and family to solve their technology problems. You enjoy working with technology and trying new things. Your home network is the envy of major corporations. You know how to talk to people. Youve always been able to explain complex technology to other people.
You are a problem solver. You are not afraid to work on a project youve never done before. You know that Google is your best friend. You recognize that filling out tickets and documenting activities are a fact of life. No one likes doing them but they need to be done well.
Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support maintenance and troubleshooting for hardware and software in a Microsoft Windows environment
Setup and maintain new computers laptops and mobile devices including all required hardware and software
Support Microsoft office suite of products and a variety of specialized applications
Provide help desk support for users for all hardware and software issues and requests
Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced
Work individually and in a team on IT projects such as hardware or software upgrades
Comfortable in using a ticketing system to log all support calls and request
Travel between proximity locations as required.
Qualifications
3 years of Desktop support experience in a large-scale distributed environment.
Windows (7/8/10) Active Directory Microsoft Office network protocols and telephony
Experience with troubleshooting CNC issues
Experience with application support
Experience with supporting IP phone systems
General experience with Citrix iOS Android
Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Office365 email for MS Outlook iOS and Android
The ability to work in a fast paced high volume changing environment
Demonstrated systematic analytical approach to problem solving
Experience supporting troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware including desktops laptops printers and peripherals
Experience in a help desk environment
