Job Description
Manpower is now recruiting for Utility Techs in Ruston!
Pay range is from $17.00/hour to $20.00/hour
Shifts: 1st shift 6am-2pm
2nd shift 2pm-10pm
3rd shift 10pm-6am
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for safely operating a grinder setting up machines properly maintaining clean machinery matching serial numbers from the roll to the factory order installing bearings performing inspection checks to ensure parts are made to standard mathematics measurements and collaborating with the manager to sign off on finished products.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
Must be able to utilize measuring devices.
Must possess the ability to read and interpret drawings.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment (may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels dust dirt and fumes).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual grinding milling lathe and planer machines.
Fit and/or assemble parts.
Study blueprints sketches machine parts or specifications to grind machine or assemble parts.
Complete required documentation.
Maintain and lubricate machines tools and equipment as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent
One year of related experience (inventory and grinding belts).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must pass drug screen.
Must pass criminal background check.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Train on the 1st shift.
