Job Description
THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
An employee in this trainee position will have the opportunity to participate in formal and on-the-job training in the methods procedures policies and regulations governing the agency for service provision of vulnerable consumers. In this vital role you will be expected to participate in professional development exercise initiative and independent judgment in discharging assignments and seek advice and help with the more unusual and difficult cases. Work includes obtaining information from the consumer members of the consumers families neighbors and other persons necessary for the identification of social economic emotional health or physical problems in order to best assist the consumer.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday - Friday with 30-minute lunch.
- May be required to be on a standby rotation for off-hours coverage.
- Telework:This position combines office and fieldwork. After the initial training and probationary period part-time telework may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years as an Aging Case Aide 2;or
- A bachelors degree which includes or is supplemented by twelve (12) credits in social sciences behavioral sciences human services or a closely related field;or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
