The role will sit within the Delivery and PMO team. The team provides solution and analysis to Scheme teams (including NPP eftpos and BPay).

As a Technical Business Analyst the role is responsible for the solution and analysis effort; developing capturing and delivering requirements.

The Role:

As a BA working within our Data team this role is responsible for leading payment solution and analysis for developing capturing and delivering requirements.

Day to day you can expect to:

• Ensure business analysis standards are maintained
• Investigate business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity. Adopts holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and identifies recommendations for improvements. Engage and collaborate with operational stakeholders.
• Work with Product manager project managers Operations developers and testers.
• Part of the role is to deliver BA Artefacts as per the AP standards where you are allocated as a BA resource to a project.
• Product Backlog Management: Identify document and refine user stories to increase the degree of detail relating to acceptance criteria assumptions constraints dependencies
• Understand and raise Risks coming out of analysis work where you are allocated as a BP resource to a project

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Knowledge of data engineering analytics and Operations processes and standards. Identifies opportunities for improving data analytics practices.
• Proven experience in a Solution Design/ Technical BA background.
• Use of Waterfall and agile methodologies
• Have experience to writing scenarios based on pre-defined acceptance criteria.
• Ability to identify risks and vulnerabilities assesses their impact and probability develops mitigation strategies and reports to the Squad/ team members.
• Good to have knowledge of end-to-end data analysis defining data requirements and ensuring data integrity.
• Communicates complex data findings to stakeholders in an understandable manner.
• Good to have any payment processing experience i.e. Card Account-to-Account Wallets or any international payment processing
