Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas (GSSWT) is headquartered in San Antonio TX and serves more than 15000 Girl Scouts (girls and adults) across 21 counties in southwest Texas. The Property Manageris responsible for day-to-day property operations and supervising maintenance staff across council-owned and -operated sites. This role ensures facilities are safe functional and ready for council use. Flexibility in scheduling is required including occasional evening weekend or holiday availability to meet operational or emergency needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the property team including the Property Specialist Camp Rangers and Maintenance Technician through regular communication scheduling and performance feedback.
- Ensure the timely completion of daily maintenance tasks by assigning work orders monitoring progress through the CMMS system (Fiix) and stepping in to assist with hands-on work during peak times emergencies or as needed.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for routine preventative and corrective maintenance across all council properties. Utilizes the CMMS system (Fiix) to manage work orders coordinates with vendors ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards and reports any issues or delays to the Director.
- Travel regularly between council-owned and -operated properties to provide on-site support check on property conditions and follow up on assigned work.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory and asset records including vehicles equipment IT furnishings and fixed assets.
- Provide oversight of room and facility reservations across council properties. Ensure that required approvals and payments are complete and support the Property Specialist in confirming availability and coordinating logistics. Bring any conflicts or issues to the Director for resolution or approval.
- Assist the Director in developing and managing the annual property budget helping to track expenditures monitor spending and ensure cost-effective operations across all sites.
- Support the Property Specialist in centralized purchasing invoice processing and vendor data integrity.
- Develop and enforce key control protocols including issuing retrieving and tracking all facility keys.
- Oversee mail operations and supply inventory management for council facilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the councils mission and operational priorities including occasional support during evenings weekends or holidays in response to urgent property needs.

Qualifications
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Education/Experience:Associates degree in business administration facilities management or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and 57 years of progressively responsible experience in property or facility operations required including at least two years of supervisory experience. Nonprofit experience will be considered.
- Language Ability:Ability to read and understand general business correspondence vendor agreements facility use forms and council policies. Ability to write professional emails meeting minutes and basic reports. Ability to respond professionally to inquiries from staff vendors and volunteers.
- Math Ability:Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition subtraction multiplication and division. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts percentages and simple measurements as needed for purchasing inventory and project support.
- Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. The ability to prioritize tasks solve routine problems and respond to day-to-day operational needs in a professional and timely manner.
- Computer Skills:Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel Outlook and Word. Ability to learn and utilize other software platforms such as Microix (procurement system) and Fiix (CMMS system).
- Licensure/Membership Requirements:The employee is required to maintain membership with Girl Scouts of the United States of America throughout the duration of their employment with GSSWT.

- The role may occasionally require climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching or crawling.

The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&As total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions annual bonuses and program specific rewards.
