We are seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team working on next-generation embedded technologies. In this role you will lead the debugging testing and enhancement of advanced embedded products while supporting automation documentation and development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Debug and test new embedded products to ensure performance and reliability.
Support and maintain existing embedded systems.
Develop and implement automated test procedures for embedded hardware/software.
Follow established development processes and contribute to ongoing improvements.
Create accurate and thorough user manuals and design documentation.
Research and evaluate new technologies to support product innovation.
Share knowledge and stay up to date with the latest trends in embedded hardware.
Assist in preparing technical data packages for manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Technologist Diploma in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
10 years of hands-on experience with board-level development and lab-based testing (co-op experience accepted).
Experience with VME VPX cPCI PMC/XMC PCIe RapidIO and VxWorks.
Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Knowledge of signal integrity concepts and high-speed digital board design.
Familiarity with CAD tools and test automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of electronics and engineering fundamentals.
