Were seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to play a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of complex procurement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management Support: Assist in organizing tracking and reporting on key activities for category management implementation. Youll help maintain timelines deliverables and action items across multiple workstreams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Procurement Coordination: Lead the planning and coordination of critical procurement tasks including financial forecasting gathering technical requirements documenting robust procurement strategies and developing comprehensive solicitation documents.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders external vendors and cross-functional teams. Youll facilitate clear communication ensure alignment and support collaborative decision-making that drives results.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare insightful status updates dashboards and project reports. Youll also support the development and maintenance of essential project documentation issue logs and action trackers.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify and recommend enhancements to procurement practices and project coordination tools contributing to more efficient and effective delivery.
- Training & Resource Development: Contribute to the creation of valuable training materials templates and communication tools promoting awareness and understanding of our procurement modernization efforts.
- Other Duties: Support the Category Lead with additional tasks to achieve our broader procurement transformation goals.

Must-Have Experience:
- Active participation in large complex procurement(s): 4 years
- Experience in a project management role: 3 years
- Minimum combined years of relevant education and experience in a similar role: 6 years
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Developing change management deliverables (e.g. Change Strategy): 3 years
- Developing readiness programs training or stakeholder engagement initiatives: 3 years
- Experience in a leadership and/or facilitation role: 3 years
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visio or other diagramming software: 3 years
