Marketing Specialist
Location: Remote (Candidates based in South Africa or the Philippines preferred)
Compensation: USD $1500 $2200/month (Contractor)
Industry: Financial Services / Online Lending
Schedule: Full-time CST hours (pref) but EST acceptable

About the Role
We re looking for a data-driven and creative Marketing Specialist to join the team and support day-to-day marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This role will help expand the brands reach improve campaign effectiveness and ensure consistent messaging as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan execute and monitor digital marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels.
- Collaborate on email marketing content creation and social media strategy.
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform marketing strategies.
- Optimize campaigns based on performance data and KPIs.
- Maintain and update the website and digital assets.
- Support brand consistency across internal and external communications.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2 4 years of experience in digital marketing performance marketing or generalist marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of marketing metrics and analytics.
- Experience with tools like Google Ads Meta Business Suite Kartra Canva or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Background in financial services fintech or lending.
- Basic HTML/CSS or familiarity with web CMS platforms (e.g. Webflow WordPress).
- Experience with marketing automation or CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot Klaviyo).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Campaign ROI and conversion rates
- Lead generation and engagement metrics
- Channel performance growth (e.g. SEO paid ads email CTR)
- Project turnaround time and collaboration feedback
