Job Description
Location: Newburyport MA 01950
Duration: 8 weeks Contract
Open to Local & Travel Candidates
- Shift: 12hr Days 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 - $2304
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the ICU/CCU.
- Monitor assess and treat critically ill patients including those with life-threatening conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed including IV infusions and ventilator management.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and monitor patient progress.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with hospital policy.
- Educate patients and their families regarding care procedures and recovery.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and critical decision-making for patient care.
- Support and mentor new or less experienced staff when needed.
- License: Current and active Massachusetts RN License (Required).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care (ICU/CCU) experience (Required).
- 3 years of overall RN experience (Required).
- Previous travel RN experience (Preferred).
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Required).
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Required).
