Role Description:
Our client is seeking a full-time Field Sales Engineer / Technical Account Manager to support their territory in the Greater Milwaukee Area. This hybrid role involves day-to-day sales marketing and relationship-building activities to drive revenue growth. The primary objective is to generate new business opportunities for our clients world-class domestic and international manufacturing partners. Success in this role is driven by building strong relationships with OEM customers and distribution channel partners and by executing a consultative value-based sales approach to identify and close new opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
3 5 years of experience in technical sales or a related industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and within a team
Background in electronics distribution engineering or technical sales is a plus
Bachelors degree preferred in Engineering Business Marketing Data Analytics Communications Social Media or a related field
Technical support and troubleshooting experience
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
Develop and maintain strong relationships within the existing customer base to drive sales
Identify pursue and close new business opportunities in prospective accounts
Build and execute strategic account penetration plans
Collaborate in a team-selling environment to support customer success
Effectively manage time and territory with organizational discipline
Meet and exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets
Performance Measurements:
Revenue generation
Territory and pipeline development
Regular communication with company leadership
Maintain accurate records in CRM system (RepFabric) to track activities strategies and forecasts
Required Work Skills:
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Skilled in data analysis and reporting using tools like Power BI and Excel
Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Word Excel) and modern AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT)
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to persuade counsel and lead
Adaptability to new technologies and a fast-changing product landscape
Effective in value-based and consultative selling
Capable of delivering high-impact technical presentations
