Job Description
Were looking for a PMO Lead contractor to join us on-a 6-month basis. This role is critical to lead and empower the PMO team at CityFibre driving impactful change across four key portfolios while supporting senior leaders and ensuring smooth successful project delivery.
What youll be doing:
- Lead with impact by guiding the PMO for CityFibres Operational Change group supporting four exciting portfoliosfrom innovative products to brilliant basics
- Bring clarity and confidence by creating clear executive-level reporting on project progress risks and interdependencies helping everyone stay aligned and informed
- Collaborate and empower teams and stakeholders ensuring projects are well-governed delivered on time and supported by strong business cases
- Champion best practices in portfolio and project management using tools like MS Project and PPM software to keep everything running smoothly
- Inspire positive change by using data and insight to drive improvements support benefit realisation and help shape a culture of continuous growth and excellence
What youll bring to the role:
- Strong leadership and coordination skills to guide cross-functional teams and ensure smooth delivery across multiple portfolios.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights helping stakeholders make confident decisions
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with a natural flair for building relationships and influencing outcomes.
- Experience in project and portfolio management ideally with tools like MS Project or PPM software and a passion for driving change.
- A continuous improvement attitude always looking for ways to enhance processes support teams and deliver meaningful results.

Essential Skills
- Project and portfolio management expertise with hands-on experience using tools like MS Project or PPM software to keep things organised and on track
- Confident communicator and collaborator able to work across teams and with external partners to bring people together and drive progress
- Strong analytical and planning skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights and make informed decisions that support business goals
- A keen eye for governance and control ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with business cases and objectives
- Experience in change and improvement delivery ideally in a fast-paced customer-focused environment with a passion for creating better ways of working
