Job Description

Are you an analyst who thrives on precision and has a passion for quality technology and enhancing business operations

McDonalds UK & Ireland is looking for a Demand & Defect Analyst to join our Technology team. In this role youll play a vital part in ensuring the seamless rollout of digital innovation across our 1400 restaurants - collaborating with global teams suppliers and local stakeholders to embed quality at every stage of delivery.

Youll lead the planning and reporting of test activities manage defect pipelines and help drive continuous improvement through best-in-class tools and insights all while shaping the digital experience for millions of customers across the UK and Ireland.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Plan coordinate and prioritise testing activity across our UK&I tech portfolio
  • Track and report progress on testing and defect resolution to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Run dashboards and reporting tools (Jira Confluence Smartsheets) for our QA & Test function
  • Partner with global and local teams to automate test cases and introduce new tools
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes and product quality
  • Identify blockers early escalate effectively and help keep deployments on track

Qualifications :

What Youll Need:

  • Hands-on experience in a testing function or product quality assurance team
  • Expertise with Jira Confluence and Microsoft Office especially Excel (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear actionable reporting
  • Confidence working cross-functionally in a fast paced agile environment
  • Curiosity drive and a problem-solving mindset
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
