We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Front Desk/Nights professional to join our team in Hounslow United Kingdom. As a key member of our front office team you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service during night shifts while managing various front desk operations and night audit tasks.
- Warmly greet and welcome guests ensuring a positive first impression
- Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures maintaining accuracy at all times
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and requests
- Manage room reservations assignments and status updates
- Provide information about local attractions dining options and transportation in Hounslow and surrounding areas
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle telephone calls emails and other communications in a timely manner
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform night audit tasks including balancing accounts and preparing daily reports
- Ensure the lobby and reception area are clean organised and presentable throughout the night
- Maintain security awareness and follow established safety procedures
- Set up breakfast and manage snacks and drinks sales as required
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly professional demeanour
- Strong multi-tasking abilities with a keen eye for detail and efficient prioritisation skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and Opera Cloud
- Ability to work night shifts and remain alert and composed during late hours
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferably in hospitality
- Basic accounting skills for night audit tasks
- Familiarity with emergency procedures and hotel security protocols
- Knowledge of Hounslow and popular attractions in the surrounding areas
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and bank holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic food handling knowledge and adherence to food safety standards
