Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Ensure production environment stability. Ensure that monitoring and telemetry systems are in place to measure gauge and warn of production issues and infrastructure breakdowns. Deliver engineering solutions which contributes to configuring CloudWatch Datadog and Instrument code for Distributed tracing. Run a command center in event of an incident get all needed stakeholders and get to resolution of the incident in a specific time frame. Perform RCA analysis with tactical and strategic fix. Perform release management to ensure automation and toil reduction in place to have 0 human touch point for releases. Use AAAS Jules and Wolverine automation in place. Have controls and audit practices in place for production environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Masters degree in Electronic Engineering Technology Management Information Technology or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Site Reliability Engineer Software Developer I.T. Analyst Programmer Analyst Systems Analyst Java Developer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering Technology Management Information Technology or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Site Reliability Engineer Software Developer I.T. Analyst Programmer Analyst Systems Analyst Java Developer or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Database and Log triaging for production issues related to database related anomalies. This position requires two (2) years with the following: Decoding issues using logs from Splunk and CloudWatch; JAeger; Observability logs using Datadog; Java; Continuous deployment archived by using Micro service architecture; Utilizing Automation by using shell scripting Terraform coding and Dev Ops; AWS deployments. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Designing and developing interactive Excel reports with advanced functionalities including lookup index match data analysis add-ons pivots VBA and VBScript; Performing data manipulation data structuring data design flow and query optimization using programming language including SQL and Python; Processing large data sets using data containers multithreading and multiprocessing in PySpark and TensorFlow; Performing statistical analysis using machine learning methods including logistic regression multivariate regression classification techniques attribution cohort analysis associative rule mining and predictive modeling.
