Position: Domestic Couple
Location: Litchfield CT
Compensation: $150000 annually (per couple) benefits
Housing: Newly renovated private residence 5 minutes from the main residence
Schedule: Full-time (up to 40 hours/week) flexible schedule with weekend availability required
Start Date: Flexible looking for the right long-term fit
Overview
A retired couple in Litchfield CTis seeking an experienced trustworthy and professional Domestic Couple to help manage their beautiful rural estate. The couple travels frequently to their other residence in Miami and needs a reliable team to care for their home property and golden doodle when theyre away.
The ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar role enjoy country living and be seeking a long-term position with kind and respectful employers.
Primary Responsibilities
For Her (Household Focus):
Full housekeeping and home upkeep (daily weekly and deep cleaning)
Laundry and organization
Light kitchen prep (chopping prepping ingredients); assisting Mrs. who enjoys cooking
Errands including grocery shopping dry cleaning etc.
Occasional light meal prep or serving when needed
Pet care: walking feeding vet visits when principals are away
For Him (Property Focus):
Assist the current Property Manager with groundskeeping and general maintenance
Handyman duties (basic repairs maintenance projects)
Assist with outdoor cleaning etc
For Both:
Pet sitting and house sitting while the couple travels (often for extended periods)
Valid drivers licenses; own vehicle preferred
Being proactive organized and maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
3 years experience in a similar role as a domestic couple or separately
Strong references and a history of long-term placements
Clean driving records and valid drivers licenses
Pet friendly
Comfortable livingin a rural area
Flexibility with scheduling including weekends and holidays when entertaining
A self-directed can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
U.S. work authorization and English fluency
Schedule & Lifestyle
Weekly schedule will vary based on the principals travel and needs flexibility is key
Weekend and evening work may be required when entertaining guests
When principals are traveling (often) workload decreases
Total hours will not exceed 40 per week
