Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate closely with the Catalog Sales Manager and Merchandise Manager to understand project specifications and develop creative concepts.
- Capture and process high-quality images that meet defined specifications.
- Arrange objects lighting and backgrounds to align with creative and technical requirements.
- Continuously improve image quality using various editing techniques and tools.
- Demonstrate strong artistic ability and a keen eye for composition and lighting.
- Communicate effectively and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with team members.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain an organized system for archiving and managing digital assets.
- Consult with stakeholders to ensure visual content aligns with project goals.
- Adjust camera settings and setups to achieve optimal results.
- Work independently and adapt to changing project needs and timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess strong knowledge of photography with proven freelance photography experience.
- Demonstrate a blend of technical skills artistic vision and business acumen.
- Understand camera operations lighting techniques and photographic principles.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for photography and creative visual storytelling.
- Own and maintain access to personal photography equipment.
- Have reliable transportation for on-location shoots or meetings.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing project needs.
Required Education:
- High school education with demonstrated proficiency in Photoshop and other image editing software such as Lightroom.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online networking sites used to promote photography work.
- Strong understanding of digital editing techniques and tools to enhance image quality.
Required Experience:
- Proficient in Photoshop and familiar with other image editing software such as Lightroom for enhancing and retouching images.
- Experienced in using social media and online networking platforms to effectively promote and showcase photography work.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically capable of bending crouching and performing tasks that require fine motor skills and manual dexterity including handling small objects and camera attachments.
- Possess steady hands and excellent color vision essential for capturing accurate and detailed images.
- Strong visual acuity with the ability to perceive fine details at both near and far distances critical for precise focusing and composition.
Eligibility Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Environmental Factors: May work outside to do shoots according to specific merchandise.
Expected Hours of Work: 8 hours per week / Tuesday and Thursday 10am-2pm/ willing to change days to accommodate the right candidate.
