About Verse Medical
Were building the software infrastructure that enables hospital-quality care at home. As healthcare costs have increased the patients home has become incredibly important as a site of care.
Yet patients recovering at home are highly underserved. Patients can only get better at home if they receive the high-quality care that they need reliably. The existing in-home care process involves a patchwork of different vendors all connected through faxes and phone calls. Were building modern robust software that solves this challenge. We currently operate across 49 states with most of the largest health systems in the US.
Were a Series C company backed by some of the best investors in technology and healthcare including General Catalyst SignalFire and Sapphire Ventures. We have ambitious expansion plans so its a particularly exciting time to join the company as were aggressively expanding the team.
Your Role in Our SF Expansion
While our headquarters is based in New York City were expanding toSan Franciscoand this role is part of that exciting growth.
Were hiring Senior Full Stack Engineers located in or aroundSan Francisco with the intention of opening adowntown SF officein the coming months. The goal is to build a strong local hub of engineers who can collaborate closely innovate rapidly and shape the future of our West Coast presence.
Initial arrangement:
This role will begin asremotewhile we finalize office logistics. Were looking for candidates based in theBay Areawho are open to ahybrid work model(4 days/week in office) once ourSF office officially opens.
This is a unique opportunity to:
Help shape the engineering culture and team structure in a brand-new office.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design to ship features end to end.
Contribute meaningfully to a product that improves how complex healthcare is delivered in the home.

Role Responsibilities:
- Build software for hospitals and patients that will make their lives easier.
- Find creative solutions to complex technical and product problems.
- Build prototypes fast but with a path in mind to turn them into robust systems over time.
- Operate with a lot of independence and responsibility in solving complex issues.
- Work with relevant stakeholders outside of engineering to figure out the right solutions to issues.
Requirements:
- 4 or more years of experience working as a full stack software engineer.
- Technical undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with backend development with Javascript Python etc.
- Exposure to frontend development with React Vue Angular etc.
- Experience with SQL databases (Postgres MySQL etc.) and deep familiarity with SQL.
- Great communication written and verbal.

- Salary range of $160000 - $205000. This pay range is provided for candidates based in New York City. Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location.
