Job Description
Extensive react experience is required for this role.
The AGI information team is responsible to make the worlds information accessible for AI models and customers everywhere. The Information Experience Technology (IXT) org within Info is responsible for defining and delivering engaging natural conversational and proactive experiences with easy-to-understand and content rich information that is relevant to every customer and optimized for every modality.
As a front-end engineer in the team you will get to collaborate with product managers UX designers senior and peer-level software engineers across a large cross-section of AGI (including the Information and Gen AI teams) and Information technical stack to bring to life cutting edge AGI experiences. This role provides you with autonomy and ownership on decisions and working backwards directly from customers. There is ample opportunity for growth due to the high visibility work and presence of senior engineering talent for guidance and mentorship. You will leverage technical skills like front-end development and end-to-end system design with resiliency.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to build AI experiences
- Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software
- 3 years of non-internship professional front end web or mobile software development using JavaScript HTML and CSS experience
- 3 years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design data structures algorithm design problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience with object-oriented design
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
- 1 years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience building scalable distributed front-end experiences

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
