About the Company
Our client is one of Thailands oldest and largest asset management companies with a proven track record of delivering strong performance across mutual funds private funds provident funds and institutional portfolios. The organisation has deep-rooted partnerships with banks insurers and financial institutions with significant influence in the regions investment landscape.
About the Role
This is a key leadership position where you will drive the overall investment strategy and oversee the fund management and product teams.
The CIO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and act as the strategic voice for investment planning innovation and risk oversight across portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and execution of the overall investment strategy across mutual funds private funds and institutional mandates.
- Oversee fund manager teams and investment analysts to ensure strong performance and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with product and distribution teams to design investment solutions that meet client needs and regulatory frameworks.
- Serve as the key liaison with internal stakeholders the Board Risk Committee (including the Chairman) and regulators (SEC BOT).
- Represent the investment vision in both local and offshore engagements ensuring alignment with market trends and global investment practices.
- Drive innovation across portfolio management including ESG thematic funds and alternative assets.
Ideal Candidate Persona
- 10-15 years of experience in investment management with a proven leadership track record.
- Holds a Fund Manager License (Thailand) mandatory.
- Thai national (or fluent Thai speaker) with strong English communication skills.
- Prior experience in Private Banking Product Structuring or Multi-Asset Investing is preferred.
- Background in both public and private market investments is advantageous.
- A strategic thinker with a solid grasp of macroeconomics portfolio construction and risk oversight.
