We are currently seeking a EMEA Offering Specialist - Power to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo Italy!
JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Offering Manger is responsible for portfolio strategy (end-to-end customer experience) defining and maintaining regional offering portfolio business and roadmap plan and marketing of selected portfolios for Vertivs EMEA Power business. This includes gathering and prioritizing customer requirements defining the solution vision and working closely with Global Offering Management and Engineering to deliverwinning solutions and maximizing profitability in selected Vertical market segments and with defined product portfolios.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities Include:
- Contributes to the definition of the Value Proposition and Portfolio definition harmonizing the Global guidelines with the EMEA customers needs working with the Regional Offering
- Manage the Regional part of the offering lifecycle including: offering tools pricing definition product documentation competitive assessment and sales enablement in general
- Communicates with EMEA Sales and customers on products positioning and value proposition also creating compelling product presentations
- Assess market competition by comparing the Vertiv offers to competitors offers provide tools to help Sales in contrasting competition and increasing our Win Rate
- Assess product revenues and profitability. Monitors KPI for opportunity pipeline creation (e.g. pipeline creation active pipeline win rate etc.)
- Inform the global offering lifecycle providing key insights on: ideation planning MRS definition NPDI process launch sustaining and End of Life.
- Manage the new products phase-in / phase-out process in EMEA in coordination with the Offering Managers
- Work with Sales identifying market requirements and assessing Vertiv distinctive competencies
- Work with the Global team to align messaging and product direction with the full offering portfolio
- Assesses market data coming from Sales and perform data analysis (reviewing CRM and market research data)
- Provides information for Offering management by preparing reports and analyses (e.g. Sales & Operations process etc.)
- Surveys product pricing by utilizing market research data reviewing production and sales costs and anticipating volumes
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop content to be used for sales tools and collateral
- Contribute to develop and maintain Regional offering following market needs
- Maintain and insert new data in product configurators
- Be an expert with respect to the competition
- Develop content to be used for sales tools and collateral
- Present solution content and demos to customers and partners
INTERACTIONS:
This position requires the gradual development of interaction and direct involvement with senior sales and marketing management sales representatives solution architects and design engineers delivery and fulfillment team Regional and Global Offering management and Engineering marketing managers as well as other internal divisions and departments.
POSITION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Approximately 20% international travel
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronic or related degrees. Masters degree is a preference. Technical studies is a must.
- Fluent in English language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Ability to be influential in cross-functional teams without formal authority
