Position Summary:
Provide excellent customersservices internally and externally supervises front desk team members toensure extraordinary guest satisfaction. Displays a professional and courteousmanner to all employees arriving departing guests by providing anticipatoryservice.
Front Office manager inspiresmotivates guides and oversees the team while sharing knowledge with the frontoffice associates. Is responsible for ensuring hotel charges processeddiligently to guests accounts invoices are accurate direct billing and billinginstructions are verified. The Front Office manager will ensure that all guestsare always satisfied and display excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage front office and overnight employees.
Responsible for running the operations ofproviding excellent guest services to our guests.
Responsible for training and follow-up ofpolicies rules and regulations including code on conduct all front office andovernight employees.
Responsible for the adequate management ofservices provided by our third-party company valet services to ensurecompliance with the hotels policies rules and regulations.
Welcome guests check-in check-out distributeroom keys and explain the hotels amenities.
Billing collect a method of payment fromcustomers guest ledger pending charges.
Respond to guests issues and complaints in afriendly and timely manner.
Explain local amenities and attractions toguests.
Work with other staff members/departments toensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any specialclient needs.
Arrange specialized amenities for arrivals andVIP guests.
Liaison between Front Office and Valet.
Monitoring PMS Mews (ReservationsAvailability Room Status Billing)
Oversee the Front Office team.
Responsible for the weekly scheduling of staffmembers ensuring that each shift is properly staffed to provide excellentcustomer services.
Participate in daily weekly meetings pertinentto the operations of the property.
Coordinate and ensure proper and adequatedelivery of guests amenities as necessary.
Order or purchase necessary items to manage thefront office department.
Receive purchase items approve invoices andcode them appropriately using our General Ledger chart of accounts.
Coordinate with Housekeeping and engineeringdepartments to ensure cleanliness and readiness of sleeping rooms and commonareas.
Be the focus person responsible for overallguest relations and VIPs.
