Job Description
Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a talented UI Developer to design develop and optimize intuitive and responsive user interfaces for our digital solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into engaging efficient and maintainable frontend applications. This role is instrumental in delivering enhanced user experiences that drive customer engagement and support the organizations digital transformation goals.
Software Requirements
Required Software Skills:
- Proficiency in (version 16 or later)
- Strong HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6) skills
- Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack Babel npm/Yarn
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integration with backend services
Preferred Software Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with UI component libraries like Material-UI Ant Design or Bootstrap
- Exposure to testing frameworks such as Jest Enzyme or React Testing Library
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployment
Overall Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers designers and backend developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop clean efficient and scalable React-based user interface components and applications
- Participate in code reviews enforce best practices and ensure code quality and maintainability
- Optimize application performance responsiveness and accessibility across devices
- Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues promptly
- Stay abreast of emerging frontend technologies frameworks and industry best practices
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to foster continuous team growth
- Manage project timelines and deliverables ensuring timely and high-quality deployment

Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
- Essential: JavaScript (ES6)
- Preferred: TypeScript
Databases/Data Management:
- Not typically core to frontend; familiarity with REST APIs and data fetching from backend services
Cloud Technologies:
- Preferred: Experience deploying frontend applications on cloud platforms like AWS Azure or GCP
Frameworks and Libraries:
- Redux React Router
- UI component libraries (Material-UI Bootstrap etc.)
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Webpack Babel npm/Yarn
- Git GitHub Bitbucket
- Agile Scrum frameworks
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI)
Security Protocols:
- Understanding of Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) authentication tokens and security best practices for frontend applications
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in React development
- Proven experience building single-page applications (SPAs) with React Redux and React Router
- Strong portfolio demonstrating past React projects and frontend expertise
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and deliver results within deadlines
Day-to-Day Activities
- Collaborate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions
- Translate business requirements into React components and modules
- Write test and maintain clean modular code
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues
- Optimize applications for performance responsiveness and accessibility
- Participate in user acceptance testing and deployment activities
- Share knowledge on frontend best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Certifications in React JavaScript or frontend development are a plus
