Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Requirement gathering from the business users
- Analyzing the business requirements and converting the requirement into Machine learning/Generative AI problem
- Identifying the needed data features and labels
- Data Ingestion from various Source databases into Big Data Environment.
- Building related models by using Machine learning and Generative AI techniques
- Recommending the best suitable solution for the given business requirement
- Presenting the solution to Business users and stakeholders by best story telling approaches
Education & Experience
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering / Masters degree in Statistics / Mathematics.
- 3 years minimum Experience in building various Machine Learning Deep learning regression and classification models
- 1-year minimum experience in Generative AI tech stack (Prompt engineering ChatGPT Ollama Gemini RAG etc)
- Extensive knowledge and skills in frameworks (like TensorFlow Pytorch Huggingface) libraries (LlamaIndex Langchain)
- Expertise in Python and Visualization Python modules like matplotlib seaborn
- Knowledge of Big data systems Data ingestion tools/processes/techniques like Streamsets Spark
- Desirable skills:
- REST API development using Flask Fast API

- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp across the globe.
