**Senior Data Scientist**
Location : Remotefirst (**UK only**)
Reports to : Lead Data Scientist
Department: Innovation Team
Type: Fulltime Permanent

Role Summary
Were looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong python development background or AI/ Python Engineer who will design and build integrated AI solutions. You will be responsible primarily for delivering AI solutions we are looking to embed across the business initially building solutions that assist our verification teams in extracting reasoning over and validating documents.
Youll additionally help drive initiatives focused on document reasoning for verification over ESG and sustainability documents helping our customers evidence compliance with everevolving standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate highlevel business problems into rapid MVPs then productionready services.
- Develop package and maintain shared Python libraries; ensuring robust and clean architecture testing and CI/CD standards.
- Design and deploy LLMbased extraction RAG and agentic workflows over large document collections and drive value through integration of latest AI tech (agentic workflows etc.)
- Communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- **Expertlevel Python developer** idiomatic testdriven coding structuring packages collaborating in shared monorepos and deploying containerised FastAPI microservices on Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- Strong general grounding in **softwareengineering best practices**: CI/CD automated testing code reviews observability and performance profiling.
- Experience using multimodal AI (document layout visionlanguage models building agents).
- Experience building quick prototypes (e.g. Streamlit Dash) to validate ideas rapidly.
- MLOps tooling (e.g. MLflow) and model monitoring experience.
- Strong communication skills and actionoriented.
Nice to Have
- Handson with Azure services (Storage Container Registry OpenAI Services).
- Demonstrated experience building extraction/ reasoning systems over documents.
- French or Spanish language skills are a bonus.
