Chloeta is seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a facility in Taos New Mexico.The period of performance is 12 months with potential options to extend.
Supervisory Responsibilities:None.

Compensation:
Chloeta reserves the right to offer any candidate above or below the listed compensation amount based on experience or business needs.
Non-Exempt
$20-$25 per hour.
Duties/Responsibilities
Performs a wide range of diagnostic support duties which includes taking vital signs documenting patients pain perception obtaining specimens administering medications receiving and recording lab results.
Tour of Duty: Monday through Friday.
Setting up medical equipment for procedures; and assisting physicians and registered nurses with procedures.
Supports patient and/or family in the integration of the patient plan of care toward changes to improve health.
Observes and documents pertinent information regarding patient status in the electronic health record.
Participates in planning patient care that is consistent with accepted nursing standards and in compliance with prescribed medical treatment plan.
Carriesout nursing procedures according to guidelines and a nursing plan of care.
Provides instructions to the patient and/or family of the patient.
Observes and abides by all Policies and Procedures Bylaws Rules and Regulations of theUnit.
Rotates to provide support duties for the COVID/ respiratory clinic.
Conducts daily monitoring of patients with COVID-19 during self-isolation and contacts during self-quarantine for temperature signs/symptoms. The monitoring methodology training will be provided.
Collects COVID specimen.
Supports COVID vaccine clinics.

Education and Experience
Required:Minimum of twelve (12) months relevant experience as a Certified Medical Assistant withexperience that includes work in a hospital outpatient clinic nursing home or other supervised medical nursing or patient care facility that provided a practical knowledge of human body structure and sterile techniques.
Required:Credentialed with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
Required:Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office Adobe and conferencing software.
Required:High school diploma or GED.
Required:Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and move for long periods of time.
Able to frequently lift at least 50 lbs. reach pull push bend stoop and kneel.
At the time of hire must provide documentation of evidence of immunizations as required by the facilitys immunization policy.
This job operates in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones etc.

Due to the nature of Chloetas services this position is contingent upon completing with a satisfactory outcome some or all of the following pre-employment background screenings: government security clearance federal and state criminal background checks drug test (urinalysis) Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review educational history employment history and/or credit check.
