Job Description
First Branch Unified District encompasses Tunbridge and Chelsea students in grades PreK - 8th. We are currently seeking a 6th and 7th Grade Humanities Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The 6th7th and 8th grade team will work in a rotation of Humanities Science and Mathematics. At First Branch Unified District we are committed to offering a supportive research-based rigorous academic program with a focus on community and outdoor education to meet the needs of all our students. The ideal candidate shall possess the following:Licensed or eligible for Vermont Educators LicenseA current teaching endorsement or eligibility for Middle Grades English & Social StudiesHave familiarity EL Education Experience working with middle school studentsMulti-sensory reading training and/or training in the science of readingProven classroom management skills (Responsive Classroom)Ability to connect and communicate with students and guardiansValue flexible thinking problem solving collaboration with colleagues and a commitment to every student can learn.
