The Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager leads and supports a team of underwriters while maintaining a hands-on underwriting portfolio as needed. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring underwriting excellence supporting the development and performance of team members and contributing to profitable growth. This position combines strong technical expertise with effective people management skills to drive results and uphold underwriting standards.

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree or higher required.
Equivalent experience may substitute for minimum educational requirements. Equivalent experience may include five plus (5) years of relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of Excess and Surplus (E&S) Property underwriting experience including leadership experience required.
Experience with Property and Casualty lines of business in Southeast US preferred. Specialization in wind exposure and earthquake coverage preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS

LICENSES
Valid Drivers License required.
2-20 Florida Agent License preferred.
