Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple customers and programs ensuring they align with the companys strategic goals and objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams manage program schedules budgets and resources and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality communications systems. The role requires excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills as well as a proven track record of managing complex programs in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in project management methodologies and tools is essential along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive continuous improvement. Must have a minimum of a Secret collateral clearance; Top Secret/SCI preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion ensuring they meet the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.
- Coordinate and guide cross-functional teams fostering collaboration and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Develop and oversee project budgets allocate resources effectively and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize disruptions.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of6 years of relevant experience or Masters Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience as a Program Manager demonstrating a successful track record in managing complex projects in value of $5-$20M.
- Extensive experience with government procurement processes and contracting ensuring compliance with regulations and effective management of government contracts.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools with the ability to apply best practices to drive project success.
- Must possess and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance ensuring adherence to all security protocols and regulations. Top Secret/SCI is preferred.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of L3Harris products and customer base enabling effective program alignment with client needs and company objectives.
- Proven ability to lead proposal teams manage proposal development and meet critical deadlines to secure new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and processes ensuring seamless integration and execution of project deliverables.
- Ability to interpret and understand technical aspects of a program and be able to communicate business acumen to customers and management.
