You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe successful applicant will join an energetic and collegial group of ten (10) child psychologists twelve (12) child psychiatrists and many allied health clinicians within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. Clinical activities include consultation with a variety of medical subspecialties and evaluation and treatment of patients with complex acute and chronic medical conditions or medically unexplained symptoms being treated within Mayo Clinic Childrens. Care is provided in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Further the successful applicant would have opportunities for program development research and provision of supervision and mentoring for post-doctoral fellows within the two-year APA-accredited Clinical Child/Pediatric Psychology Fellowship Program. There are also opportunities to engage in education activities for medical fellows residents students and trainees. The position carries an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine rank commensurate with experience.
Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota and be Board-certified/Board-eligible in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Requirements include completion of an APA-accredited doctoral program and internship. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in multidisciplinary clinical and research collaboration and excellent interpersonal communication and leadership abilities.
