  • Salary: 27711 - 30060 pro rata (24157 - 26673 per annum)
  • Hours: Full Time. 37.5 hours per week. Term time plus 1 week
  • Contract: Permanent. Required from September 2025

We are seeking to appoint an Internal Exclusion (IE) Manager at Ixworth High School. You should have a personal track record of success working with students to improve their behaviour. You would be responsible for standards and processes within our small IE room and delivering one intervention to support students in improving their behaviour as part of the pastoral team.

As part of their role they would liaise with teachers and other staff to ensure that students have good access to the curriculum and that vulnerable students including those with SEN are supported well. Being able to communicate effectively with the full range of stakeholders is essential to this role including students staff and parents.

Ixworth High School is a small friendly secondary school located in the Suffolk village of Ixworth it is around 10 minutes from the A14 15 minutes from Bury St Edmunds and 30 minutes from Ipswich. We have been oversubscribed in recent years and are a popular school. We were graded good across all areas by Ofsted in April 2025.
