About the Role:
Downer is seeking a reliable and dedicated Part Time Cleaner to join our team at Mark Oliphant College Munno Para. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the school premises delivering high-quality service while adhering to safety and procedural guidelines.
This is a part time opportunity; you must be available to work Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Drivers Licence and own transport preferred as may need to travel to other schools in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweeping mopping and vacuuming of floors
- Glass cleaning and maintaining toilets sinks and showers
- Waste management and replenishing consumables
- Dusting and damp dusting including high dusting
- Safe handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Routine safety checks and equipment maintenance
- Responding courteously to client requests
- Complying with all safety legislative and quality standards
About you:
- Experience in general cleaning tasks (sweeping mopping vacuuming and glass cleaning)
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and equipment use
- Ability to follow safety procedures and adhere to OHS&W policies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness to high standards
- Excellent communication skills and a courteous customer-focused attitude
Please note:As a pre-requisite for this role successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical as well as provide an up-to-date National Police Clearance Working with Children Clearanceand Immunisation history.
