TasNetworks is seeking a skilled and driven Designer Estimator to join our engaging design team. This role is crucial to the successful delivery of safe timely and cost-efficient design services across our distribution network. Working with both internal and external clients you will ensure the development of constructible and high-quality energy infrastructure solutions across overhead and underground systems.
This role will see you
To be successful in this role you will bring tertiary qualifications in power system design or equivalent practical/trade experience in the electrical distribution industry. Youll have a strong understanding of underground overhead substation and street lighting installations along with advanced skills using Microsoft Office AutoCAD line design surveying tools voltage drop and pole stress calculations estimation and lighting design software.
You will demonstrate a customer-focused mindset with an appreciation of commercial drivers and the ability to consistently deliver results under pressure. Youre skilled at identifying efficient effective processes and are committed to continuous improvement.
You proactively adopt innovations in digital and business technologies and communicate clearly across a range of audiences using a variety of channels.
