Job Description
Full Time High School Math Teacher
Mountain View Academy a successful small independent school is looking for a full time high school Math teacher to join our team. The successful candidate must have excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the following provincial secondary school curriculum:
Mathematics 10C
Responsibilities will include a homeroom the ability to foster and maintain a positive caring and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and mastery and the ability to communicate effectively with parents guardians and other school staff.
The ability to teach Chemistry 20 would also be an asset.
