Ottawa University (established in 1865) one of the oldest private liberal arts universities in the United States is a multi-campus system serving approximately 4000 students through its campuses in Kansas (Ottawa Kansas- Residential Campus and Overland Park Kansas- Adult Programs); Arizona (Surprise Residential Campus and OUAZ Adult Programs); Wisconsin (Brookfield Adult Programs); and our OU ONLINE PROGRAM based out of Overland Park Kansas.

JOB SUMMARY
Position assists the University Chaplain in faith programming and leadership for all installations of Ottawa University (including virtual and adult learners). In addition to the overall university faith element this position is also responsible for all aspects of barrier reduction and assistance programming for faculty students and staff and coordination of events which are sponsored or supported by the Fredrikson Center; the American Baptist Churches and community faith and civic partners. The position will also serve and support the faith needs of current students faculty staff board and alumni as requested and/or needed.

GRADUATE ASSISTANT GENERAL INFORMATION:
The applicant must first be accepted into an Ottawa University graduate program to be eligible to apply for a Graduate Assistant position.
The Employment Application can be found on the Ottawa University website within the Careers Section where University Positions are posted. To complete the application process the applicant must attach the Graduate Program Acceptance Document which is provided by the University upon acceptance into the program.
All Graduate Assistants must be eligible to work in the United States and present the proper documentation to the Human Resources Department prior to beginning their graduate assistantship role. These requirements and information are provided to you as a part of your onboarding process through Human Resources.
