Your Mission:
Bitrefill is seeking a skilled Staff Product Designer with a proven track record in working with e-commerce platforms. This role has a big impact on our customers user experience on the way our product is seen and perceived by thousands of people. Inside our Product Team you will join the team Experience - the one responsible for delivering a seamless customer experience to our customers around the World. You will report to our Chief Product Officer Marco Pesani while you will collaborate closely with the rest of the gang namely with our designers and engineers. For that we need you to be someone with good product management and communication skills someone who can easily and clearly communicate and brief the team members involved towards the common goal that needs to be achieved.

Who You Are
You are a product-minded designer who believes great design is only complete when its in the hands of users. With a strong foundation in UX principles you think beyond individual screens to own the entire user journey. You are passionate about improving core business metrics like conversion by designing and shipping exceptional e-commerce experiences.
As a key member of our team you will have the opportunity to help shape the user experience of our e-commerce platform. This platform is used by thousands of people worldwide to fulfill the vision of a crypto circular economy by making it simple for them to buy gift cards pay their bills and top up their mobile phones.
Your Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the storefront designing the homepage search product pages and other core elements to improve key metrics like conversion and page speed.
- Co-own the product roadmap in partnership with Product and Marketing bringing a distinct design point of view and explaining how each idea serves our business objectives.
- Collaborate deeply with Engineering through development to guarantee a polished high-quality result. Take full ownership of the final user experience from initial concept to the shipped product.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with user researchers to validate and improve designs through usability testing while also conducting small-scale research independently.
- Define and test key UX metrics by designing and running quantitative experiments (like A/B tests) to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of your work.
- Continuously scout emerging patterns and technologies translating trends into practical innovations that increase conversion and delight users.
- Contribute to our design system by evolving components tokens and guidelines ensuring everything ships with clear specifications.
- Mentor designers share feedback in critiques and help improve the teams overall design process and tools.
You bring with you:
- 8 years in designing e-commerce and digital experiences showcased in a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills and strategic thinking.
- Located in Europe/Americas time zones.
- The ability to understand how web technologies work explain how technical constraints impact the user experience and design solutions to mitigate those constraints.
- Hands-on proficiency in using AI as a core tool for prototyping and asset creation as well as an effective assistant throughout the creative process.
- A strong command of user experience principles and the ability to think critically about the entire user journey not just individual screens.
- Experience with quantitative validation including defining and monitoring UX metrics and designing experiments (e.g. A/B tests) to validate design decisions.
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members with a proven capacity for self-organization in a fast-paced fully remote environment.
- While not required front-end development skills particularly with React and Typescript are highly appreciated.
