Backhoe Operator
Kissimmee FL
Full - Time / Direct Hire
AboutWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Backhoe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety focus and proven expertise in operating backhoe equipment for heavy construction projects including roads bridges and highways.
Responsibilities-
Safely operate backhoe equipment to support construction activities.

Follow all safety rules procedures and use prescribed safety equipment.

Attend and actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Report unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately to supervisors or safety personnel.

Promptly report any injuries accidents or incidents.

Maintain professional and courteous interactions with coworkers supervisors and the public.

Perform routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment to ensure proper function.

3 to 5 years of recent experience operating backhoe equipment in heavy highway or civil construction.

Valid CDL Class A drivers license preferred.

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious violations).

Strong knowledge of safety systems emergency procedures and equipment maintenance.

Experience with support equipment such as vacuum units reel trailers plows and trenchers.

Ability to physically perform tasks including climbing lifting up to 75 lbs balancing walking and stooping.

High school diploma or GED preferred.
