Job Description

RN-Interventional Radiology Permanent Role
  • Location: Irving TX 75061
  • Shift: 12 HR Days 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with interventional radiology procedures including pre- intra- and post-procedure care
  • Monitor patient vital signs sedation levels and overall condition during procedures
  • Administer medications and contrast agents as ordered
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and procedures
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures recovery and follow-up care
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols infection control and radiology regulations
Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • Must have 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
    • Preferred: 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
    • Willing to train candidates with 3 5 years of solid ICU or ER experience
  • Education:
    • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  • Licenses/Certifications (Required):
    • RN-Registered Nurse (Texas state license)
    • BLS-Basic Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
