Magic Beans is a Specialised Consulting Firm dedicated to helping clients adopt Cloud technologies. With offices in Lisbon Porto bidos Brussels Madrid and Barcelona we deliver innovative projects in dynamic cloud-native environments.
Were looking for a Data Engineer with solid experience in data pipelines DevOps best practices and cloud platforms. If youre passionate about technology and want to grow in a collaborative and agile team this opportunity is for you!
Main Responsabilities
- Design develop and deploy robust data pipelines and ETL processes in cloud environments.
- Implement and manage data storage solutions and ensure data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Develop and maintain project documentation and technical specifications.
- Monitor and optimise cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
- Ensure alignment with security standards and compliance regulations.
- Support customers in their data architecture and modernisation initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data systems and infrastructure.
Valued Skills
- Solid experience in cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and associated data services.
- Proficiency in SQL and database systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server or Oracle.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices including Terraform Docker CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of networking virtualisation and Linux-based environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic cloud-driven context.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Good communication skills and customer orientation.
Language Skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
