We help teams eliminate double data entry and manual busywork by connecting to existing tools processing project data and automating workflows between people and AI. With every project alago gets more powerful spotting risks and turning past challenges into future wins.

Weve just raised a seven-figure pre-seed led by top construction tech VCs and one of Germanys largest project developers. 75% of the infrastructure that will exist in 2050 does not exist today. Lets build it better!

Tasks

This role is about building the machine while were scaling it. Youll operate at the heart of the company and get direct exposure to product customers and investors with real ownership from day one.

Operational Backbone ( 1/3)

Youll make sure the company runs smoothly and scales smart:

• People Ops Own end-to-end hiring: from crafting job descriptions to managing pipelines and interviews.
• Investor Communication Keep metrics up to date maintain our data room and support with updates and reporting.
• Finance & Admin Set up lightweight tools handle invoicing and support monthly reporting.

Speedboats ( 2/3)

Youll take on fast-moving projects that drive growth such as:

• Automating internal processes with tools like Notion Airtable or Zapier
• Running go-to-market experiments and testing new customer segments
• Supporting pricing strategy customer discovery and fundraising prep

This role is perfect for someone whos entrepreneurial thrives in ambiguity and wants to help build a company at the intersection of AI and the real world.

Requirements

• You have (or are pursuing) a Masters degree and speak fluent German and English.
• Execution & Ownership: Youve worked in high-performance environments (e.g. consulting VC startups) and know how to drive projects from zero to done. People trust you to deliver.
• Strategic & Commercial Thinking: You enjoy thinking in systems spotting growth opportunities and connecting dots others miss.
• Technical Fluency: Youre not an engineer but youre comfortable around tech. You can explain how our AI product creates value sketch a basic flow or build a lightweight demo with Lovable or a no-code tool.
• Structured Process Builder: You bring clarity to messy situations whether by structuring a Notion page organizing a hiring funnel or automating a workflow in Zapier or n8n.

• 10 Learning Curve Youll rotate across business ops product strategy sales finance hiring and investor topics and learn how to build a company from scratch.
• You ship you own Your work doesnt sit in slides. Whether its a pricing experiment a pilot rollout or a CRM system you launch it and see the results directly.

2. Intro Call (25 min)

A short conversation with Janick or Ann-Christin to learn more about your background motivations and what drives you. Well also give you a brief intro to Alago the role and answer any initial questions.

3. Second Call (25 min)

A deeper dive into our product vision current challenges and our Go-to-Market strategy. Youll get an inside view of what were working on and well explore how you think and where you could have an immediate impact.

4. Case Study (half day in the office)

Join us in Munich to tackle a real challenge together. This could include:

• Customer & GTM: Run through a mock customer conversation show how youd respond to inbound interest or structure discovery.
• Strategy & Ops: Help us analyze and solve a current internal question (e.g. pricing model partnership concept operational bottleneck).
• Product & Delivery: Join a product session and help synthesize user feedback or shape next steps for one of our pilots.

This day is designed to give you a realistic sense of the role and us a clear impression of how you work communicate and think on your feet.
