Job Description

Job Title: HSE Coordinator
Industry: Upstream Oil & Gas
Location: Victoria Island Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: 500000NET monthly


Job Overview:
Our client in the Upstream Oil & Gas sector is seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Coordinator to join their team in Victoria Island. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the company’s internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
Lead safety training and awareness programs for staff and contractors.
Monitor and report on HSE performance and compliance.
Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Liaise with regulatory bodies on HSE matters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years relevant HSE experience in the Oil & Gas sector (Upstream preferred).
Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH IOSH or equivalent).
In-depth knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
