About the Role
Benore Logistic Systems Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and optimize fleet maintenance operations ensuring peak asset performance and compliance with regulatory standards. In this role you will oversee maintenance personnel manage workflows and drive operational efficiency. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing safety minimizing downtime and ensuring the reliability of our fleet and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Oversight Ensure timely maintenance and repairs of company vehicles trailers and equipment to support safe and efficient operations.
- Maximize Uptime & Efficiency Supervise maintenance coordinators and technicians ensuring all repairs and services are completed within designated timelines.
- Regulatory Compliance Maintain meticulous service records enforce DOT and OSHA regulations and uphold EPA and company safety standards.
- Process Optimization Review work orders resolve discrepancies and implement strategies to enhance repair workflows.
- Resource Protection Implement security protocols to safeguard maintenance tools assets inventory and facilities.
- Emergency Repairs & Vendor Coordination Quickly allocate technicians and engage vendors to resolve urgent maintenance Leadership & Development Oversee employee performance delegate tasks provide coaching and administer disciplinary actions as needed.
- Continuous Improvement Analyze key performance indicators identify gaps and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Management Transportation or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or maintenance management role.
- Minimum 8 years of fleet vehicle maintenance experience.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in equipment coordination and service writing.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle computer systems and maintenance processes.
- Proficiency in maintenance software reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong communication decision-making and ability to manage high-performance teams.
- Certifications: Master Mechanic experience preferred.
