As a SCADA/DMS Engineer you will:
- Install configure maintain and troubleshoot the e-terra DMS and EMS suite including SCADA DBB Legacy systems and AEMS components.
- Work with tools such as e-terraModeler e-terraSource e-terraArchive FGBuilder and e-terraBrowser for system integration and modeling.
- Support operational applications such as Outage Assist and Storm Assist across power systems.
- Perform modeling and configuration of various electrical devices and networks.
- Handle data exchange and communication protocols such as ICCP ELCOM MMS Secure OPC DA and others.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5 years of hands-on experience working with SCADA/DMS/EMS platforms especially GE s e-terra suite.
- Deep knowledge of Transmission and Distribution electrical grid operations.
- Experience in installing analyzing and troubleshooting e-terra DMS and EMS products.
- Familiarity with advanced SCADA modeling tools and user interfaces.
- Working knowledge of communication protocols including ICCP OPC DA MMS Secure and network components such as TCP/IP routing DNS Active Directory LAN and firewalls.
- Understanding of NERC CIP standards and security compliance.
You Should Possess the Ability To:
- Diagnose and resolve intermediate to advanced issues using multiple troubleshooting techniques.
- Model electrical devices and systems accurately within the EMS/DMS platforms.
- Work independently on platform integration data flow and system health monitoring.
- Communicate effectively across technical teams and with end users in English.
- Maintain high levels of precision and consistency in system operations and support.
