Get to Know the Role
As a Senior Technical Program Manager Leader you will help shape and drive high-impact cross-company initiatives that solve complex and often ambiguous challenges. Youll lead large-scale product and technology programs end to endstrategically planning executing and aligning them with Grabs broader goals.
In this role you will serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders building relationships and influencing organisational practices at scale. You will lead a team of Technical Program Managers focused on accelerating impact streamlining execution driving prioritisation and eliminating inefficiencies.
Beyond program delivery youll also contribute to Grabs broader technical strategymaking key decisions that fuel innovation and long-term growth.
You will report to the Head of Technical Program Management.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Drive complex company-wide programs with ambiguous scopes and high impact ensuring strategic agreement and customer-centricity.
- Manage roadmaps and execution across multiple teams tracking progress adapting plans and mitigating risks.
- Demonstrate deep technical and domain expertise contributing to product strategy and Grabs broader technical direction.
- Influence cross-team priorities including input on resource planning and headcount budgeting.
- Provide expertise on technical design and participate in strategic product discussions.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders advising on organizational practices and resolving cross-functional tensions.
- Communicate by presenting problems solutions and trade-offs in a clear and collaborative manner to foster understanding influence decisions and achieve agreement.
- Lead process innovation designing and implementing scalable ways of working across tech teams.
- Automate and refine workflows to improve program delivery efficiency and throughput.
- Coach TPM talent mentor peers shape the TPM discipline and improve in hiring and performance standards.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 10 years of experience managing Agile software projects with experience leading large-scale cross-functional programs.
- 3 years of experience managing a team.
- A project delivery or technical leadership background which will allow you to succeed in Grabs dynamic and diversity.
- Experience in handle leadership stakeholders cross functional teams.
- Enjoy autonomy and self-decision making process.
- Expertise in process design leadership driving scalable ways of working and introducing innovative practices.
- Program delivery with a technical leadership background in different Cloud Product suites such as AWS/Azure/GCP etc.
- Experience leading a team of Senior TPMs in fulfilling organisational.
- Ability to decompose complex problems into simple straightforward solutions without having to rely on your leaders or other stakeholders.
- Familiar working with teams not co-located.
