Join our team that keeps Air New Zealands regional network running smoothly. As a Crew/Operations Controller based in Christchurch youll play a vital role in connecting communities across Aotearoa. Please note this is a 24-month fixed-term contract.
What Youll Do:
Youll be at the centre of our Regional Airlines Operations Centre managing daily flight operations and ensuring our schedules stay on track. Youll coordinate with crew respond to disruptions and make real-time decisions that keep our network moving.
- You will monitor and adjust flight schedules to minimise delays
- You will liaise directly with crew to maintain roster integrity
- You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational challenges quickly and calmly
- You will use systems like Carina to manage crew logistics and compliance
What Youll Bring:
Youre calm under pressure detail-oriented and thrive in fast-paced environments youll bring...
- Experience in airline operations or crew control
- Familiarity with Carina or similar crew management tools
- Understanding of CAA rules and employment agreements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
