The Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development implementation evaluation and continuous improvement of instructional programs and curriculum initiatives across grade levels and subject areas. This role works collaboratively with teachers administrators and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with district goals state standards and best instructional practices that promote student achievement and educational Duties and Responsibilities:Meets with administrators to analyze assessment data (STAR Early Literacy STAR Reading STAR Math content area assessments) to identify instructional areas of improvement for all students and groups of diverse learners and strategically plan coaching cycles with teams and teachersAnalyzes and interprets data from various assessments and prepares meaningful presentations to share with benchmark assessments for use in developing and implementing interventionsEvaluates educational needs and collaborates with teachers and administrators to interpret/use assessment/screener data to identify learning gaps improve instruction and problem - differentiated instruction for and strategies that are content and activity-specific to increase student-centered instructionConducts observation/feedback cycles with teachers to improve Tier I instruction Conducts regular meetings with classroom teachers to examine student work and monitor progress to support teacher reflection and action to meet the needs of all school-wide efforts to increase family engagement in literacy and mathematics connecting learning opportunities at homeProvides individualized and small-group support to teachers focused on improving student engagement and learning targeted support for teachers identified by school or district leadership as needing additional instructional teachers for classroom peer/best practices support and guidance to new collaboratively with representatives from curriculum and professional development companies. Disseminates information to appropriate staff. Performs related duties as required or assigned.
