As a renowned IT and AWS cloud service provider we have been successfully shaping the digital landscape at several locations for over two decades. Our growth trajectory is unbroken and we are looking for reinforcement for our Amazon Connect & Conversational AI team.
The Business Unit Lead (BUL) is responsible for the operational and strategic development of the TRAINING business area (portfolio segment) at tecRacer. As a member of the management team the BUL works closely with the CFO and other central functions to implement the overarching corporate strategy and to expand the business area profitably.
Strategic Responsibility:
Development and implementation of the business units strategic goals in alignment
with the CFO and the management team.
Identification of market trends business opportunities and competitive landscapes to drive innovative growth of the business unit.
Ensuring the long-term competitiveness and profitability of the business unit.
Operational Management:
Monitoring and managing the performance of the business unit based on KPIs such as revenue profitability and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration with central functions such as Sales & Marketing People & Culture and
Utilization to optimize business unit performance.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Close coordination with other BULs Local Managing Directors and project-based
leadership to ensure a consistent corporate strategy.
Sponsorship of agile teams within the business unit to ensure global visibility and serve as an escalation point.
Innovation and Customer Focus:
Initiating and leading innovative projects to further develop the portfolio.
Maintaining and expanding customer relationships as well as promoting up- and cross-selling opportunities.
Active business development networking and leveraging opportunities.
Leadership and Development:
Supporting and developing various People Success Leads.
Ensuring that employees have the necessary resources and training to achieve their
goals.
Success Criteria:
Achieving the financial and operational goals of the business unit (e.g. revenue
profitability).
Increasing customer satisfaction and fostering long-term customer relationships.
Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing within and between teams.
Implementing innovative projects that sustainably strengthen the business unit.
Strong strategic thinking and the ability to set and achieve clear goals.
Proven experience in leading a business unit or department
ideally in a technology-driven company.
In-depth knowledge of market and industry trends
particularly in the context of tecRacers services.
Experience working with agile methodologies and cross-
functional teams.
fluent in German and English
